- Video Cards
Battlefield 2 only supports the following video cards:
Radeon X700 (PCIe)
Radeon X600 (PCIe)
GeForce 6600 (PCIe)
GeForce PCX 5900 (PCIe)
GeForce 5800 Series (AGP)
ATI Radeon X800 XT Platinum Edition
ATI Radeon X800 PRO
ATI Radeon 9800 Series
ATI Radeon 9600 Series
ATI Radeon 9550 (RV350LX)
ATI Radeon 9500 / 9700 Series
ATI Radeon 8500 Series
ATI Radeon X300 Series
NVidia GeForce 6800 Ultra
NVidia GeForce 6800 GT
NVidia GeForce 6800
NVidia GeForce FX 5950 Series
NVidia GeForce FX 5900 Series
NVidia GeForce FX 5700 Series

Doesnt look like a 9250 is up there. But I heard a few people playing with it by doing something. But I would upgrade your video card if you want to even play on low-med settings lol.

8500 series > 9250 serise? :freak:

Make sure you have the latest ATI drivers, 6.6

i can run it on a Fx5500 PCI 256mb, plus my computer sucks ***. i think some divine power is helping me run BF2 on this POS dell.

That card should be able to run BF2. I can run it on a FX5200, and the 5200 sucks balls. I agree with Pzero, though, make sure that your drivers are the newest.
If you have your card overclocked, set to to default settings.
Also try reinstalling BF2 and patching it to the newest version, 1.3.

yeh its not ganna work I have a 9200 and my whole computer crashes when I run it. Its cuz of shadermodels or something.

i use to have 9200 didnt work at first i updated drivers and it worked but on the lowest settings i now have a geforece 6600 le but tbh it hasnt helped much i made a thread looking for osme help.

Im having this same problem, but only when i update hmm...
