Mexican Bandwidth
Thought I'd add my results. I'm on a 1Mbps Cable connection. My ISP sucks big time (NAT, for starters) but it's at a reasonable cost (around $25 a month) and fast (ISPs doesn't get much faster here; haven't seen home connections above 2Mbps).
By the way, you'd think Eastern Australian servers are the farthest (if you live in the US), but it's not necessarily true. Remember Australia is closer going westward (Pacific) than eastward, so the farthest servers are in Western Australia, or Indonesia / Malaysia.
Closest: KnoIT Server, Monterrey, Mexico ~ 400mi
Farthest: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia ~ 10,100mi
Edit: I tried the test at the office. Weird: upload is almost twice as big as download.
