my friends wants his pictures to be shown like that, i can host the website and all that, i just need to know how to do something like that slideshow type thing.

Have you looked at the source for the page. It is written with javascript and seems to run with a simple flash player. All you would need to do is input the material that your friend want on the webpage, and get the flash player.
