I want to make a complete copy of all my files and the like on to an external hard dirve. It is a refurbished vaio 60 gb one it connects through a usb 2.0 connection. using a program such as norton ghost could i make a restore point on a external hard drive?

Use Windows XP's integrated Backup tool located under System Tools

I think it's called Save and Restore here in the states, I scored a free copy of that stuff via my work it's pretty slick.
