When i turn on my computer, the motherboard and fans power on, but the dvd drive will not open when i press the button. There are no LED's to tell me if it is working or not. It just does not open. I have tried switching the power cable with another one that i know works and it still does not power up. It is connected to a power cable and IDE ribbon cable. Did i forget to plug in a cable or should i return the brand new dvd drive and get a new one.
Also, i have plugged my computer into a monitor and it shows a black screen and the USB plugs on the motherboard do not power my mouse. PLEASE HELP ME! It's my first build and all of these cords are really confusing. Thanks
