im trying to join the site "hackthissite.org" and when i went to "basic challenges" it said "you need to be authed to use this page"...what does authed mean and how do i become authed

I would assume it means that you have to login.


the basis challenge is quite easy.

i seem to remember writting a spoiler for that site on this site a few years ago.

you didn't used to have to login, the first, basic challenge though, (as I remember was beating a simple login script like that).
