I'm still waiting for game visuals to catch up with old per-rendered films. Even the latest cards couldn't push Toy Story 1's visuals, and they're pretty basic in terms of pre-rendered films of nowadays.

Back on topic tho; about how much do you think the 5800s will drive down the price of the 4800s?
Everything I can find says along the lines of:
The cards will be launched in September and will be available in October, around the same time as Windows 7 launch.
So I might just grab a 4870 or 4890 for now (dont feel like waiting 2 months for the 5800s to actually hit the market), then sell it and pick up a 5870 after its price goes down a bit; after all a 4890 can run any current game with ease anyway; no need to pick p a HD 5870 X4 when it spits on every current game
