Hello, sorry if this is in the wrong section but if it is please move it.

I am attending my third last year of high-school, currently studding the lowest leveled programming language, Assembly. At home I have a Windows 7 64bit OS and I would like to know if it's possible to get the 'debug' feature for the command prompt just like in XP. At the moment the only way I know on how to get that on my PC is to get VirtualBox and illegally download XP (which isn't what I really want to do).

Any ideas or suggestions?

Windows 7 Professional and up has XP mode which, if you have a genuine windows copy, you can download and use for free.

There should also be a file called debug.exe in your system32 folder which you can run from cmd.
