Are you tempted to buy a Google Chromebook?

I'm curious because the Chromebook is so tempting to buy because all I do is web surfing. I want to buy one, although I would miss Linux Mint

They cost about the same as a netbook so I'd rather have a netbook. The netbook can do everything a Chromebook can plus stuff that it can't. Seems like a no brainer to me.

Chromebook was never about doing many things though, but keeping things simple and fluid.

No. Just bought a netbook a few days ago. In the future, I still think it's rather unlikely, since windows netbooks will probably remain cheaper, and I'm just going to install a proper linux distro anyway. Also, most chromebooks seem to be quite large. 12.1 inches is barely smaller than a normal laptop, which will have much better hardware for little more cost.
