Are you planning on putting these in a dedicated file server?
If so, I might suggest you use FreeNAS and put them in a RAID-Z.
It works much like a RAID 5/6, but it's file system based, and more resilient against errors. And you don't have to have a dedicated RAID 5 controller. And you can expand the array by putting in bigger drives later.
