Anyone see "Dear Sophie"?

Hello all, pretty LONG time no-see.

Recently my wife and I had a beautiful baby girl, 5 weeks old yesterday. One of my cousins showed me the Google Chrome "Dear Sophie" ad on youtube, (guess it was aired as a TV commercial, but never saw it). After seeing it, I really wanted to do the same thing. I have since opened an account for me to send emails to my daughter, where she can read them, once is older though, maybe high school, maybe 18, maybe college, we will see. I have sent her a few emails so far, and it's pretty cool. I like that I can remember things freshly in my head, and get them in writing now for her, so that if she asks about the day she was born for instance, I have it all there, rather that just random bits & pieces 20 years from now.

I just wanted to see if anyone else was doing this, or at least bring it up and maybe inspire someone else to do it too.

Great to see you back around, dude. Congrats on the daughter and marriage, or should that be marriage and then daughter.

That's a neat idea. I wish it had been around when my daughter was born.

I've seen the commercial and think it's a pretty interesting idea.
