Well since I have put arctic silver 5 on my vid card I wanted to try and get a new 3dmark05 score. Well I first tried my old best benching setup. Useing that I noticed that I could only get to ~9,800 points and I used to be able to get to ~10,200 points.

This was after doing defrag and deleting some stuffwhich added about 200 points. Could having more stuff on my hard drives be the reason I'm down 400 points? Or what else could be the problem?

My system
Asus A8N-E motherboard
Amd64 3000+ @ 2.5ghz
Twinmos 2x512mb with 2,3,3,7 timings and a 3/5 divider
HIS x1800gto IceQ3 (12 pipes and 520/495 gpu/mem) flashed to x1800xl and overclocked to (16pipes and 730/730 gpu/mem)

hmm.. the oc could be not stable.. that will cause lower scores .. and make sure that when you benchmarck that it is benching your oc'd stats .. mine kept reverting to stock...

Well the cpu can pass 3 hours of prime. Also these are the same settings I use to use and now with the AS5 my gpu runs 4c lower and my vreg runs 7c lower. I've ran artifact checker for about 5 minutes with no problem so it should at least be stable enough to get through 3dmark05.
I can turn the overclock up to 750/790 but that only adds about 150 points to get me just over 10,000 points.

Have you only run it the once? the score you get is different every time you run 3dmark... try running it lots of times, and average.

(although, admittedly, it doesnt fluctuate by 400 points...)

I've ran it 3 times under the same conditions and it pretty much does 9820 to 9880 when set to 730/730.
