its not really the cpu that matters but more to what graphics card you get. Worry about that first.

umm sure its good but your video card and your RAM will be the determing factor.

Yeah, it's fine. That'll play all of today's games. The main concern with today's games is the video card.

i need a new mobo, cpu,ram and gfx. what i was planning on getting was
the above cpu
1gig ddr2
Msi or Asus mobo 'dfi is too expensive'
PCIe card, not sure yet. Need somthing cheap but good.

Yea, a 3200+ will be good enough. As far as the video card what is your budget for the GPU?

i dont really have one, as my pc crashed and my mobo is gone... so i thought i might as well upgrade the lot. so um... the cheapest i can find, but decent enough to play games. I can always upgrade it in time, im just in abit of a rush

a 6600gt would be good in a pinch, or if you wanted to go higher a 7600gt. Whichever one is in your price range.
