annoying error streaming video in IE

He there,

Just today one of my machines has developed a really annoying problem. everytime i go to view a page with a video file embedded into the page i get an error and internet explorer closes! see below for an example. any suggestions people? System details listed below

XP2600
768mb ram
GeForceFX5700 - 256mb
2 x 300gb + 80gb hdd

lol, I had the exact same problem for the longest time. I uninstalled Windows Media Player and then reinstalled it - make sure you tick the box about allowing the playing of video in IE, or something like that.
