what can i over clock my proc. to for a safe but fast setting ??im useing some cheaper fan so that might make a diff.

just overclock it slowly, if it starts to give you errors, crank up the voltage a bit and always to be sure to watch your temps

More voltage = More stability\higher overclock = More heat

just try it out see how it works, if you screw it up just reset the cmos lol not much you can do to permenantly screw it up

generally amd 64 dont have the same temperature tollerence as the older generations such as mine, Athlon XP
for your case, most people would say stay awway from anything over the 60s
personally my comp is oced and runnin @ 58 Idle
and around 64 under load., i used to run it at 75 lol i was a crazy kid

What is the stepping on that 3000+? Try to keep the load under 50*C for A64's. Xp's idleing at 58*C is too hot too.
