hi i have just built a new system and installed windows XP pro with out any problems and then when i incress the FSb to get the proccessor upto speed the sytem will not start. i have tryed running it @ 2ghz and then the computer get a serios system error,

i have an

ASRock K7s41GX
samsung 512mb 333
80gig H/d
samsung DVD-ROM

dose anyone have any ideas what the problem is ?

I had the same problem when I tried to overclock my PC. I couldn't even go into BIOS setup after I tweaked the FSB. So I just turned everything off and unplugged the PC, removed the CMOS battery--and put it back in after about 30 seconds. Everything went back to stock settings.

i have got it to goto 2.2 ghz and windows is now starting but i keep getting a message saying that a serios system error has occured.

error code 00000050 Parameter1 e61473d8, parameter2 00000000, parameter3 bf8347d0, parameter4 00000002
