AMD or Intel? :D

Hey, due to price restrictions, there are two combinations of processor/ graphics card I can choose from.

Intel Core i5 3450 IVY Bridge (3.10GHZ, 6MN Cache)
ATI HD6870 1GB

OR

AMD Phenom II X4 945 (AM3, 3.00GHz, 6MN Cache)
Overclocked ATI HD 7850 2GB

Which do you think would be the better combination for gaming?

The first one has a far superior CPU and the second one has a far superior GPU.

For gaming, better GPU all the way.
