I thought about who could buy out AMD and ATI and I was thinking what would those make up. I mean Intel can't take it because then theres no competition once again, if Nvidia takes it then no GPU Competition. Its either VIA or shall I say. . . .

there not the only possiblilty , what about the likes of IBM i read some crap back in jan speculating about this they spend loads on R&D and develop CPus themselves

would microsoft even be able to buy AMD cos that could cause some serious conflicts of interest to do with unfair compettition

and although microsoft owns x box they just assemble the hardware they dont actually make each individulal part themselves
