Amd cpu?

as i am new to all this i was wondering if anyone could tell me the top 3 processors from AMD? I no intel goes like this:

intel i7
intel i5
intel i3

obviously haha, just wasent sure about AMD?

there opteron's are the best.
then the FX-8000 and then it's the FX-6000 serie along with AMD Phenom II 6x.
in between sprat all over the place when talking about performance is AMD's so called APU's.

right now AMD is way behind intel. i hope to see some better AMD's soon in order to make competition.

If you are going to get a separate graphics card, do not even consider the A*-Series of AMD.
