Alternative to WinBoost?

Hi guys ...

The chairman of our ICT Society wanted to know any alternative to WinBoost that can do similar job.

He wanted to limit other users accessibility as WinBoost does ... The platform is Windows 98. Any suggestion will be appreciate!

there are probably quite a few programs that are quite similar to Winboost. one that I used quite some time ago for Win98 was ... hmm ... tweak_le? something like that. simple gui interface to allow you to control all of those pesky registry settings without delving into the file yourself...

...which, I might add, is your other alternative. become registry savvy and just edit everything yourself.

tweak_ui is the program I was thinking of

registering it is advisable, I believe the fee is a pittiance, but again...haven't used it in a long time.
