Allow Multicast From Broadband Network?

So I am just checking the settings of my grandparents router to ensure everything is running ok and noticed a box called "Allow Multicast From Broadband Network?" was enabled. Does this really need to be enabled?

Need depends on the services they have from their ISP. Either way, it shouldn't cause any issues so there's no harm in leaving it on.

Yeah they only use it for basic internet needs. I thought it may increase speeds or range.

Nope, it won't make any difference at all for either of those. Basically all it does is allow the ISP to send the same packet to multiple computers at the exact same time.
