Adware?

These stupid things that says Messenger Service keep popping up. They're made to look like it's a window from windows but it doesn't quite match. It pops up and says message from SYSTEM to WINDOWS about errors with the coputer. THen it tells me to go to some site to fix it. Then it has a OK button. My three spyware and adware blockers (Spybot Search and Destroy, Spyblaster, and yahoo toolbar) won't block the problem either. How do I get rid of this annoyance?

The problem is probly cause by security holes, huh? THis is a new computer using XP so it probly is pretty vulnerable although I download Firefox firsth thing.

Turn off the messenger service is msconfig. Not msn messenger, but messenger, and you wont have that problem.

To turn Messenger off
Click ... Start ... Run
Type in ... services.msc
Find Messenger on the right side
Right click and choose ... Properties
General tab, middle, from the drop-down menu choose ... Disable
Beneath the drop-down menu, click on ... Stop
At the bottom of the Services box, click on ... Apply, then click ... OK
Close Services and reboot.
