Not sure if this is posted in the right forum?
Anyway...
This is probably more focused on UK users as I know nothing about connections over in the US - although I heard it's a whole lot better.
So I'm currently on a bog standard 56k dial up modem with Onetel.net. Very reliable - if just so slow.
I friend of mine who runs an ISP reckons ADSL has nothing on a cable connection. I am considering upgrading to broadband and have both cable and a BT landline at my house.
Anybody got any views as to which would be better?
NTL cable or BT broadband?
Or anyone recommend and Cable/ADSL suppliers?
Any and all viewpoints welcome
Thanks guys
Shem
