This is the point where I give up.

Okay, I'm setting up AD at home, in order to keep up with my knowledge and for a project. Now, the problem is that I can't get the dang Roaming Profiles on.

When I right-click my user (Marc-Andre) and go to the Profile tab, I enter this in the profile path:
\\ServerAD\Profiles\Marc-Andre

In the Home folder area, I've tried the Local path (C:\Profiles\Marc-Andre) or connecting a drive to the PC (Z:\ as \\ServerAD\Profiles\Marc-Andre).

I was told to have full control on both the share and the local security, so I did.

Problem is; I am always getting a Temp Profile, and no matter what I do, it doesn't get away. I tried gpupdate and even gpupdate /force, but no go. Restarted BOTH PC and Server, and still no change.

What am I doing wrong? (Looking through Google searches didn't help at all)

UPDATE: Only my laptop and the AD server will load the profile. The laptop takes forever though.

Got any inputs?
