Ok, I personally didn't know what effect this would do, but I wanted to have both Avast! and AVG running at startup. AVG has a pretty significant system load..
Sometimes it would take about 4-5 minutes to get to the desktop completely (it would be frozen). I think that on higher-spec PCs, this wouldn't be such a problem, but I'm just throwin my 2 cents in...
BTW I accidentally enabled my Avast! trial, so I have SafeZone n stuff...

BTW I disabled AVG in the Task Manager's "Start Up" tab...

Umm...literally told you like last week having 2 AV's active at the same time is a big no-no, and that it can cause issues...lol.

Literally zero reason to have both installed at the same time. Get rid of one (I suggest keeping Avast), and only have 1 running.

Its very known (or should be) that you never use more than one AV at a time like Carnage has said..

Just use a good AV, then use tools that focus on certain areas.
