Hi all
recently I was performing some maintence on one of my older harddrives that is still using the FAT32 system and I foudn this _restore directory with tons of files inside. I open the _restore/temp and found tons of files with the CPY extension. Does anyone know what this directory does? is it safe for me to delete it?

well that harddisk is not my system directory
and that directory takes up 1.6GB man
!!

its system restore, if you delete and the pc cocks up your crapped. But what you could do is actualy go into system restore and set the limits it can use (i set mine to 5GB) You could easily set it to 200Mb and reomve old checkpoints

If its system restore I would just delete it if its a secondary hard drive. Shouldnt do damage to your hard drive and I am guessing that secondary hard drive of yours isnt very large so 1.6 gb is a lot of space to be wasted.
