M mobo In Runtime Messages 221 May 16, 2003 #1 Why is is that when I shut down one of my win 98's it goes straight down and the other goes to a black screen that says "ok to shutdown now" ? I would like for both to shutdown without the black screen . Thanks for any help:bald:

OP OP M mobo In Runtime Messages 221 May 16, 2003 #3 No acpi setting to change so maybe it is as microbell says Some motherboards do not support software shutdown..hence you must use the power switch to switch off the computer.
