true, there is Kuwait.
But it has less oil than Iraq. Also already a huge percent of Kuwaits export is based on oil, so I doubt they could increase their oil export enough to cover USAs need, not to mention that also europe buys a lot of oil from the middle east.
okay, with a little research in this matter (since I really was interested) and it turn out that the main corporation which handles most of Kuwaits oil exports (and which is controlled by the government) seem to sell most of their oil to europe, not to the USA. Here is a link to their websites history section, not really any mentions of USA.

Also looking at these statistics (which are pretty old btw) http://www.scaruffi.com/politics/oil.html
we see that the total oil production of Kuwait and USA is about 10million barrels per day, only half of what USA uses.
Also those statistics show that Iraq's oil production was 30% higher than that of Kuwaits.
