8.32 GHz!!!!!

Not much to terribly interesting about it..

Its an Intel Pentium 4, Prescott core (which is the hottest running processor Intel has made yet). And I think its like a 690 or something, which means it is stock at 3.4 or 3.6ghz or something.

And no, you cant do it, that is why its an OCing record.

It was done with a P4 641 and YES, you can OC up to that reaching. Just use what they used and you can go make your own.

Possible, but not likely, don't get his hopes up.

If he cant research it on his own, he cant oc a computer period.

I don't think he has liquid nitrogen just chillin in his garage either.

No of course not, but it's always possible. Personally though, It's OCing and that's it. You can't use the computer for ages either. Liquid Nitrogen condensates and once it hits a good spot and shorts, you lose your board and quite possibly the CPU.

who cares? even at that speed, which cant be sustained, a C2D beats it if you OC it a little.

i cant go to the article as im maxing out my connection with a download but who said it was real? anybody can post anything up on wikipedia.

The overclockers care. It's interesting to see how far a CPU can go.

lol i started a project actually in school
im trying to acquire parts 2 over clock a core 2 duo
think about how fast i could get that 2 go
its not that hard just need a very good liquid nitrogen system
the problem is u dont buy it u have 2 make it

Yeah and if you make it and F up, not good cause you will loose a c2d system.
