7800gtx 512mb

It shouldn't. If it does, you need to complain to DFI for making such a piece of crap motherboard. I mean the 7800GTX are SLi compatible. DFI has to assume that people will be setting the video card to SLi mode so they have to leave adequate room for two of them, no matter how big the video cards are. There's got to be a standard too as to how thick those video cards can actually be too. I wouldn't worry about it. I'm going to assume that you can put 2x 7800GTX 512MB in there without a problem. Tight squeeze, maybe, but it should fit.

Hmm.. good point. Sick card nonetheless.. I wanna get one.. but I am not sure if its worth spending 800cdn on it or just getting a 256mb and adding a second later.

Benchmark shows the 512MB version to be better than the 256MB counterpart, but at a huge cost. In everday hard core gaming, a 256MB version of the 7800GTX is way more than adequate.

save a few hundreds and just get the ATi x1800xt only a few fps slower.

Actually the x1800xt is about the same as the 7800GTx 256 mb version.
So the 78800GTX 512 mb will give u more performance than either one of those two.

But I don't know if it's worth the price.
