6600gt vs 5950 ultra??

ok how is the 6600 gt so much better than 5950 ultra?? the 5950 ultra gets like 30gig bandwidth a second and the 6600gt it gets what like 16gig a second. i belive with a nice cooler on the 5950 ultra and a good overclock the 5950 it would be doubling the 6600gts bandwidth.. yes i know the 6600 gt has that very nice 1ghz memory clock and that 500mhz core.. and no im not bashing on the 6600gt it all. i mean if i could afford one hahaha i would buy one but how is it stomping the 5950 ultra??

The Radeon 9500 Pro beats the FX 5950 Ultra in HL2. The DX9 support is terrible in that series of Nvidia cards, far worse than even the shaky DX9 support of the Radeon X800 series. Get the 6600 GT...it beats the 9800 Pro, which stomped all over the FX 5950 Ultra.

I agree w/ everything they said. the FX version of Nvidias cards sucked butt. And i talk from experience lol, but though mine is doing very well.

yes of course!!!! wow im soon to get it or 6800 hopefully but the 5950 ultra is a very bad performer and the so expensive lol deffinetly the 6600gt!!

Last i got a MSI FX5950ultra 256mb for xmas and it was a beast but now it is crap compared to the newer ones....within 3 months i had to get a better card becuz of it lagging in many games i play..i can't believe it was so expensive and still is!! i have it under my bed now becuz no one i no wants it... i think that the 6600gt is way better becuz its got a better chipset...mayb i should benchmark it on my computer and compare it to my friends 6600gt and see...
