48x CDRW?

I'm buying a computer tomorrow for alot of multimedia and watching movies. The system comes with a 16xDVD+/-RW but you can add a 48x CDRW/DVD for $40cdn. Would the upgrade and dual drives be worth it? I do alot of CD burning and stuff to. Thanx.

Most 16x DVD burners are fully capable of burning CDs at 48X. Check the specifications of the included DVD burner before considering the second one. Having two burners does come in handy if you do alot of "burning on the fly", copying directly from one CD and burning to another.
