Hey guys, I've been on here before, and you have always been really helpful. I'm hoping that you can help me puzzle out my server issue.
I've got a Crystal Server, 5 SCSI drives and it's all controlled by a 3ware controller.
Every once in a while, randomly the server is forcefully rebooted. Upon bootup it hangs says "Waiting for 3ware..."
If I CTRL_ALT_DEL it, it boots back up just fine.
I looked through the event viewer under system, all it shows is a couple of errors for 3wareDrv stating "The device, \Device\Scsi\3wareDrv1, did not respond within the timeout period." followed by "RestartIO> Lost IO requests = 45"
There are no other warnings which indicate it's going to shut things down, and each time it has been random.
Do you guru's have any tips/advice?
