When I try to benchmark my system with 3DMark 2005, an error pops up saying:

"IDirect3DDevice9::CreatePixelShader failed: Invalid call (D3DERR_INVALIDCALL)"

I'd imagine it's a problem with my DirectX, but I have the current version I believe. Can anyone give me any specifics on this?

What Kind of video card do you have, because it clearly states that you MUST have a DX9 graphics card to run it. or it could be that your gfx card doesnt have/support a pixelshader. try using aquamark3 and see if you get errors in that as well.

I have an ATI Radeon IGP 345M. It's a bit older and came stock with my laptop, so I'm guessing it indeed is not a DX9 card. Thanks for the help.

nope its not if its older than the 9000 series. thats ok i cant see a older laptop getting a good score anyway.
