3800+ running at 1004 mhz?

i was looking at cpu-z and it says that my core speed is 1004.6 Mhz when it should be at about 2410 mhz. ive played around with the bios settings and cant figure out whts goind on. My computer properties says its running at 2.41 Ghz. Wondering if anyone can help out

fsb maybe. your fsb speed could be 1004

i tired cpu-z on a few othre 64bit computers and it shows 2400 for 754 3000+ and 2605 for 939 fx-55. it used to say 2405 but now it doesnt for some reason
