Hello all! My name is Chris and I have recently gotten into PC gaming and "youtubing" what I play. So, my challenge for you is to help me build an awesome gaming PC that will last AT LEAST 2 years :) The catch is, I need EVERYTHING (but speakers ^-^)! Monitor, keyboard and mouse, and of course .. the tower. I need this monster to run current and future games at great frames per second, look great, run games great and run recording software with no lagging, and do it without struggling and being louder than a helicopter. I also want this computer to have the looks, and the muscle to be the computer to show off to my friends and family and run games like a boss. I have made a rough list of parts and done lots of research on them, but still need any and all opinions on the parts and things I should add or change. Enough with my jiber-jaber, lets get to the parts list!

**Note: I shortened the names of all the names of components while hopefully not taking important information out. I also plan on ordering everything from Newegg. So please try to direct me and any parts there please. :) Also, I plan on using Win 7. Oh and one more thing, I have listed the part number with the part so you can copy/paste it into Newegg's search bar and directly be linked to the item! :D**

END of component list :)
So after looking through my parts, what do you think? Is this a good gaming PC that will smash graphics into the ground and let me have great FPS even while recording all while lasting for a minium of 2 years? If so, comment and let me know. :) If not, tell me why and recommend me some replacements please. :) Also I have noticed some other $2000 dollar gaming PC builds that have better parts for cheaper or some other variations of what I have or just different variations in general that are better, be it cheaper or more expensive. That being said, am I choosing the wrong parts? Or good parts that are really expensive when I could be doing it differently? Thanks for any and all help you provide. And just for the help.. I now officially love you. LOL.

EDIT: Found some speakers that are cheap and probably better than my crappy ones now. Here they are: Logitech S-220 17 Watts 2.1 Multimedia Speaker System - OEM

Welcome to the forum.

Thats a pretty solid build, and nicely done for a gaming rig.

I'm not up on Asrock, or z77 boards, so I'm no help there. But in general it's a solid build for your intended use.
Someone else will tweak the mobo/ram for you.

Do you plan to overclock your CPU a lot? If so then your can look at getting a Megahalems Heatsink... I've been out of the Air-Cooling game for awhile but the meghalems was one of the best at the time...
