i didnt know cable boxes were moitored by MAC addresses, i do know that the box next 2 ur house that has the coax comming in and out of it, its a criminal offense if u open it thats y there is this weird plastic lock (no place for a key or combination) that locks that box.

Give your cable company a call to get extra channels?

if you have good neibour that lives next door and also has cable, run a cable ( underground) from there house to yours. and then you and your neibour both chip in and get a more expencive cable package. win win.

or switch to a satilite instead of cable, more bang for your buck.
