2 OS on one hd

i have a 40 g wd. hard drive.. i partitioned the drive 20 + and 17 gb.......

to get bootmagic to detect which op system to boot from, should i install windows 98 se on my c: partition.. then install BOOT MAGIC ... and THEN INSTALL WINDOWS XP on e: partition..

need some clarification pls.. thanks

How many threads are you going to start on this subject. You dont need Boot magic.

Install 98 first then Install XP.

would that work or would that overwrite 98? i use F-Disk but you might not have that
