2 Monitors?

I play games and I was going to get a 19" flat screen monitor I already have a 22". I wanted it so i can play my games but then go over to the other monitor and do stuff. I have a nvideo 8800gt. Will it effect FPS and performance alot? Thanks

Depending on what you do, yes. Say you wanted to run Photoshop on the second monitor. It would be pretty much the same thing as running the game and photoshop at the same time. Only difference is your graphics card is displaying more, so there would be a greater toll on it. The CPU usage is the same I think.
