2 different download folders in documents folder - vista

i noticed there are two separate download folders in my Documents folder in vista....on is labeled "Downloads" and the other is labeled "My Downloads". Why are there 2 different download places? And, do I need both, or can I delete one of them (they are both empty right now)? If I do delete one of them, will Vista just re-create them both? Thanks.

"Downloads" is the one made by Vista.

The "My Downloads" is created by either a program you are running that downloads from the web...or you created it yourself not even realizing it. Delete My Downloads...but it may recreate itself if infact it is a program using it.

Nothing can go wrong, just don't delete "Downloads" as vista created that when it was installed.

I too have Vista, but I don't have either folder you mentioned in my "Documents" folder.
