1. I have a 4.8GB file that I want to burn onto a Dual Layer DVD but none of the programs I've tried can handle it. Any Ideas? I'm wondering if its the FAT32's fault of not handling anything over 4GB? Any easy way to split a .mp4 file?
2. I'm thinking about upgrading to a dual-core system. Is it possible to set one core to one task (Converting .mkv files to .mp4) and the other core to another task (video game, etc)? Is this possible or does the computer automatically decide where to run what on the cores?
I've just always wondered how dual cores work when the majority of programs aren't written with dual core in mind. Maybe new fancy games or whatnot, but freeware by college kids can't have the same kind of programing can it?
