I currently have a 2.66 Celeron D 330 (2.66 ghz) and I have the chance to get a P4 2.6 ghz processor for $75.

Is there much difference between these two processors? I dont do much gaming but I do alot of multi-tasking and development stuff. Would this processor make a big difference in video encoding?

Basically, would this be a wise upgrade or would their be any noticable difference? Thanks.

After doing some research it sounds like this is a very overclockable chip. So maybe that would be my best option.

Wow... I thought that since it was a Celeron D and not just Celeron that it wouldnt be that big of a difference but I guess maybe I should make the switch.
