Hi i'm debating what monitor to get, i'm definitely looking for a 27 inch monitor but i'm having trouble deciding whether i should get the view-sonic 27 monitor that has a 1ms response time that's not LED back-lit, or get a 27inch LED backlit monitor with 2ms response time or higher

any opinions? please don't be bias! lol

heres my options:

Newegg.com - ViewSonic X Series VX2739WM 27" 1ms HDMI Full HD 1080p Widescreen LCD Monitor w/ 4 port USB-hub300 cd/m2 DC 100,000:1(1200:1) Built-in Speakers

Newegg.com - Asus VK278Q Black 27" 1920x1080 2ms Full HD HDMI LED BackLight LCD Monitor w/Webcam 300 cd/m2 10,000,000 :1 (ASCR)

Newegg.com - LG E2750VR-SN Black 27" 1920 x 1080 5ms Full HD HDMI LED BackLight LCD Monitor Slim Design 250 cd/m2 5,000,000:1 (DFC)

I'm on my iPod so can't see the pages you posted properly however by the looks of the links none are led monitors, they are all LCD. If you can get a true led monitor in your price range that would be the best choice. Of the 3 though, the lg or asus

honestly, you eye balls won's be able to see the difference between 1ms to 5ms, if you get up to 10ms, you may start to see it.
1ms is 1/100th of one second. The average time it takes to blink is 3-5ms, or 3/100th - 5/100th of one second.
So, I'd go with the Asus, LED is all around just better for picture and they use less energy.
