Along with the other components I'll be buying, I was thinking of getting a new monitor, as my current one is a little small for the 4870 X2 I'll be getting.
I had my eye fixed on an 24" screen priced at around £270 giving me the 1900x1200 resolution. But I'm asking whether there's a big difference between 1680x1050 and 1900x1200 .. is it very noticeable? Thing is the minimum size for 1900 resolution is the 24" and the monitor sizes are available in 20, 22 and 24. The 20" monitors will actually provide the 1680x1050 resolution and not just the 22" .. so I may as well go for the 20" if I settle for 1680... but is an additional £100 worth the exta 4 inches, higher resolution and maximising the use out of the graphics card? Also, there's the problem it may not even fit!
What do you think guys?
