So i have this friend, who's a complete moron wannabe hacker type lol. anyway we just got into an argument about the I.P address 127.0.0.1. He seems to think that every personal computer has the I.P 127.0.0.1 and another 'internet' one. I told him thats ridiculous but he kept on going on about ti. so someone just clarify this so i can get him to shut up

EVERY computer doesn't "have" 127.0.0.1 assigned to a nic per say, but every computer has 127.0.0.1, which it itself/loopback. If it's connected to the internet or another network it has that address also.
