1 Major thing Windows Vista is missing is.....

to me it doesn't make much sense. If they didn't include internet explorer with windows then how would you get onto the internet to download a browser?

That's a very good point. The argument Netscape was making was that by having IE built into OS they have a monopoly over access to the Internet and that no one would even bother looking at Netscape. Microsoft was forced to build the Netscape Browser in the OS. As we all know, Microsoft made the browser impossible to find so it still didn't gain any market share.
 
microsoft dont design antivirus software, (exept that one you pay for like raffaz said). i cant see them adding avg or something into an os lol. they want all the fame and $$$ but anyone with sense will download avg or something simular.
 
i dont think that vista needs an antivirus program because there has never been one in any of microsoft's oses and i think sumthin vista needs is a redesign of the network connections window. its very messy.
