You can try Process Hacker, I used to use it back in the day to kill my old schools spying software XD It doesnt need admin privileges and can even close apps that give the 'access denied' message on task manager. https://processhacker.sourceforge.io/index.php

Its quite strange that you've settled on one specific GPU, it would be better if you'd be open to similarly priced/powerful cards so you can get a better deal as with many of these old cards, its hard to find many listings online. For example, r7 250/250x cards are around as good as the card...

So my gaming pc was working fine all day but after ~4 hours of use it just started freezing without shutting down itself. Weird. I checked Event Viewer but there was nothing really significant other than Kernel Power (which was because of me turning off the pc). I ran memory diagnostic. Nothing...

Have you tried turning down the mouse sensitivity (in windows and in-game)? Have you tried plugging your mouse in different USB ports? Have you tried using a PS/2 mouse ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ?

Just tried it. It doesn't seem to make much of a difference really. The down speed is slightly higher but probably within a margin of error. Edit: so, restarting the router doesn't make a difference.
