i tried that. is there something i need to press for it to play the input? it allows me to record but it didn't play it through the speaker unless i recorded and then played back the recording
when i plug it into the input it didn't work, and line-in wasn't muted and it was at full volume. when i plug it into mic, same situation, except i can record it through sound recorder.
haha i'm insulted :p
no, i would have thought of that. the computers in the cisco lab don't have external speakers. it's either directly off the audio card or through an internal speaker i'm not sure. probably internal speaker because it's doesn't sound too horrible
I would like to hook my Zune up to the computer I use at school so I can use it's speakers. I have a cable that allows me to plug it in to the Line-In or microphone, but I can't figure out how to actually be able to hear the music without recording it first.
ok thats what i thought. i would rather not have to use one of those, but i suppose if it would mean increased performance i would do it. i basically just want the most powerful system i can afford
well how do you mean keep it cool? the way it has now, one of the vents for the fan is blocked off, but i could un block it...i don't know why they had it blocked
yea. i know some systems can use pata, ata and ide are all the same i think? so i just can't use sata. but if going from 4200 to 5400 is not a big increase in performance, what would be the best way to increase performance?
ok what would be the best way for me to increase performance? when i asked on another forum they said hard drive speed because thats where the actual data is stored..is that correct, or is there a better way i can increase performance?
also, what is the difference between these drives, and...
Re: upgrading my laptops hard drive
yea, i was looking at newegg and was thinking of a 160gb 5400rpm drive, but i thought there may be something better elseware. would going from 4200 to 5400 be a significant increase in performance?
at newegg there are a few 160gb 5400rmp drives. how do i...
I am looking to upgrade my laptop's harddrive, and I basically want to know what the fastest, highest capacity drive i can get is. also, i think i know what interface and everything i need, but if someone could clarify that would be great.
