    Cat-5 wiring using 2 pairs

For non 1000 base networks you only need the 4 wires. However, if you were running your network full-duplex you would need the blue's and browns (the other 2 pairs). It should be working fine, however, that is poor practice for them to only hook up the oranges and greens.

    Hiya

Didn't even see this sub-forum until now, so I'll act like this is my first post and say hello to everyone. I'm Curt and I'm from St. Louis. This is a nice place you guys have here.

    CISCO Engineer

Your CCNA will look good for an entry level job, but if the big money is what you want, you'll definitely want to get into bare minimum some CCNP stuff (Advanced Routing and Switching, and TONS of specializations), and the real dollars are CCIE's. If you're serious about it, I'd recommend...

NTLDR MISSING, need some quick help

I definitely wouldn't re-install unless the other options don't work first. If the NTLDR is all that is missing, use the 4 boot CD's and the Recovery console and you should be back up and running. If the links to the boot cd's don't work, they are on MS's TechNet site as well. Should be 4...

    Mobo/Case Question...

I don't think I totally understood the question at hand? Are you wanting to know if your power supply can handle all the fans? Or where those wires go??

    WPA strength and wireless hijack?

I currently live in a large apartment complex, have a vast wireless network, and haven't had any problems with people stealing my bandwidth. I use common sense things like MAC Filtering, and WEP/WPA encryption. Let's face it, except for the tech savvy ones, most average Joe's go out, buy a...

Did I set my wireless network up right?

You can turn off SSID broadcasting, but they won't be able to use it anyway (unless they are hacking) if you are using WEP or WPA. If all your comps are XP I'd use WPA as recommended up above.
