I want to buy my brother some RAM for christmas since he is in need of some. I was wondering what specs have match to make the RAM compatible with one another. He currently has one 2gig stick of Nvidia DDR2 (the other burned out on him the same week he purchased it) I dont believe nvidia makes...

I've rechecked the wiring. Nothing was out of place. I still have the same problem CPU LED light keeps flashing and beeping and the DRAM LED keeps on flashing as well. I'm starting to get really frustrated and worried that I wasted a grand on a computer that won't work.

This was my first time ever putting together a computer, so I'm sure that I'm missing a wire or two somewhere, but maybe it's something more serious. Well it seems that none of my USB ports are working. I tried to plug in my keyboard and mouse and neither turned on, thus leaving my moniter on...

Would a 40GB SSD be worth it to put my OS on?

I was hoping I could get some more advice on my current build I have in mind. My computer is going to be for gaming and basic school needs. My budget is around $1,100. I posted it on another site and after ripping my original build to shreds and offering their advice, I've come up with this one...
